Description: On-site staff, TV lounge, shared laundry. Programming includes individualized non-medical case planning, community gardens, arts & crafts, community volunteer program, community meals and access to harm reduction supplies. A converted former motel, Medewiwin was awarded the 2004 Best Practices in Affordable Housing award by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in recognition of its unique peer support community model which stresses independence, a sense of belonging as well as harm reduction, personal growth and wellness.

How To Apply for Supportive Housing

Individuals who are 19+ and wish to be considered for supportive housing must submit an application to the BC Housing Supportive Housing Registration Service. You only need to apply once.
