Subsidized Housing

Pacifica Housing owns and/or operates 19 properties with subsidized housing units in Greater Victoria and Nanaimo. Tenants are selected from a Centralized Housing Registry, maintained by BC Housing. To be eligible for subsidized housing, an applicant's gross household income must be below certain income limits, as established by the Housing Income Limits (HILs). HILs is set by BC Housing and represents the maximum annual income, before taxes, that a household can earn for suitable housing in their location.

Supportive Housing

Pacifica Housing owns and/or operates over 250 units of supportive housing designated for individuals who have faced homelessness or who are at risk of being homeless due to mental health and/or substance use disorders. Supportive housing is subsidized housing with on-site supports for single adults, seniors and people with disabilities. These supports help people find and maintain stable housing.

Individuals who are 19+ and wish to be considered for supportive housing must submit an application to the BC Housing Supportive Housing Registration Service. You only need to apply once.

Affordable Market Housing

Pacifica Housing owns 18 properties with affordable market units available for rent in Greater Victoria and Nanaimo. Affordable market rental units are designated for people who have a low-to-moderate income, but may not be eligible for subsidized housing.

Your total household income must fall within the median income figures as determined by BC Housing. Families and individuals who are interested in renting available units within these buildings can apply directly to Pacifica Housing.
