January 2022 - Resident Notice Update on Temporary COVID-19 Operational Changes

As the provincial government has announced several new restrictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Pacifica Housing’s head office at 827 Fisgard Street in Victoria will be open to the public on a limited basis to allow residents to pay rent, deliver documents or attend to urgent tenancy related matters in person.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our highest priority remains the health and safety of our residents and staff.   For us to provide our residents with the support they need, we have the following procedures in place:

• • Our head office on 827 Fisgard Street in Victoria will be open to residents Monday to Friday from 1 PM – 3:30 PM.
• • No appointment is required for payment of rent or document delivery. We apologize for any confusion that prior communication may have caused. There are restrictions in place regarding the number of people allowed into the office at any given time and will be limited to one household.
• • For all other tenancy matters, please call 250-385-2133 to leave a message or email tenantservices@pacificahousing.ca.
• • If you require maintenance services, please contact:
   ‣ In Victoria: maintenance@pacificahousing.ca or call 250-385-2131 ext 2115.
   ‣ In Nanaimo: maintenancenanaimo@pacificahousing.ca. call 250-385-2131 ext 2501.


• • Our maintenance team will call you to schedule a time to complete the maintenance request and will ask health screening questions related to COVID-19 prior to entering your home.
• • We will continue to use special precautions in all operations to ensure that physical distancing is maintained and that PPE is available.
• • We will require the use of PPE and social distancing when residents attend meetings with staff or visit the office.
